Acres to Graze Farms is a family-owned and operated farm following principles of regenerative grazing to produce the healthiest possible food for your table, to raise happy, healthy animals, and heal the land. Contact us for orders of lamb, goat, beef, rabbit, or duck.
All our ruminants spent 100% of their lives on pasture, with rotational grazing and no concentrate additives at all. In the winter we feed local grass hay, however we are working towards reducing the external input through improving our pastures and building a stockpile.
Our ducks are completely free-range and have a barn for shelter if they so choose. The rabbits are kept colony-style in Joel Salatin rabbit tractors (hare pens). They are moved regularly with wooden boxes for shelter, and eat grass, forbs, and shrubs from the farm with pellets added as needed.
We offer beef by the whole, side or quarter. Lamb and goat are available seasonally and are sold whole. All are processed locally. Rabbits and ducks are available frozen, live, or fresh (fresh with advanced notice).

Alpha-Omega Natural Meats are available from Shadow Wings Ranch, a family-owned ranch near Lebanon, Missouri offering pasture-raised pork and free-range chicken. We have a passion for food that nourishes our bodies instead of polluting them and raising animals in a way that not only gives them the best quality of life but does not negatively impact the land. We believe happy animals simply taste better.
Our hogs are fed non-GMO feed and raised outdoors on a rotational grazing system in a mixture of trees and open space. They are frequently moved to give them a fresh, clean space to run, jump, relax, and forage. They are given plenty of space to roam and get much more exercise than conventionally raised hogs. This ensures the pork has a higher protein content and better taste. Our free-range chickens are fed a non-GMO feed and have tons of room to run and forage.
We offer your choice of cuts and can cure some cuts of the pork for an additional fee. All meat is vacuum sealed. For more information or to place a deposit, please visit our website.

American Grass Fed Beef specializes in grass-fed beef. Our beef is raised in southern Missouri on Rain Crow Ranch by Mark and Dr. Patricia Whisnant along with their six children. We supply all cuts, from superior quality steaks, roasts, ground beef and burgers to beef jerky and summer sausage. Our beef is dry aged for added tenderness and taste, and vacuum-packaged for our customers' convenience.
Our family does all that we can to ensure the highest quality possible; one of the best ways we have found is through achieving strict certification. We are Certified 100% GrassFed by the American Grassfed Association, Certified for high animal welfare by Animal Welfare Approved, and USDA Certified Organic Pastures by One Cert.
Our cattle are raised using intensive rotational grazing techniques—free of pesticides, herbicides, growth hormones, and antibiotics. We have long been advocates of this management protocol due to its benefits to the animal, the environment, and to us as consumers of a healthier product.
We market via our internet site where we ship via both Fed Ex and UPS. You can also find our meat in Whole Foods, select Schnucks Markets and through Fair Shares. We welcome customers to pick up their beef at our grass farm in Doniphan, MO, or our processing plant located in Jackson, MO—just tell us when you are coming. We can ship everything from small orders of a few steaks, to large wholesale orders including quarters, sides and whole beef with special cuts and packaging requests. American Pasturage, Inc. supplies meat from livestock raised on grass pastures year round. During inclement weather, the animals receive grass hay right in the pasture. A supply of Elysian Veal, Pasture Purefect Beef, and lamb is available at most times right from our farm. The USDA-inspected meat is vacuum-packed and frozen. We offer whole and half beef at 18 months to 2 1/2 years of age, delivered to quality USDA inspected meat processors in the surrounding area. Current pricing as of 5/17/2022 is $3.60 per pound of hanging weight, averaging 225 to 425 pounds.

Hello, and welcome to Attadale Farm. We are Steve and Sandy Fahsbender. We raise 100% Local Grass-Fed Beef, Pastured Pork, Grass-Fed Lamb and Honeybees on an old Amish farm near LaPlata, Missouri, just across the river from Illinois.
Our grass-fed cows are the Galloway breed. We selected Galloway because they score high on carcass evaluation tests for tenderness, juiciness and flavor. With big stomachs, they do an excellent job of converting our pasture's seven varieties of mixed grasses and legumes into tasty, tender beef. We do not feed them anything except our pasture and/or alfalfa. We do not give them hormones, antibiotics, grain, or grain byproducts. Our cows are humanely raised. We offer our beef by the individual cut, 1/4, 1/2 and whole.
Our pasture-raised Hereford hogs are heritage and are rotationally grazed through our timber to enjoy our naturally abundant grasses, vines, berries, bushes, leaves, roots, acorns, hickory nuts, walnuts and whatever else is on their menu. If we need to supplement their diet, it is with a certified non-GMO ration. Our pork is marbled and delicious. You will not be disappointed. We give them no hormones or antibiotics. They, too, are humanely raised. Our pork is available in 1/2, whole and by individual cut.
Our sheep are grass-fed and graze alongside our Galloway cows. There is safety in numbers. Grazing sheep and cows together also help control harmful parasites in the pastures. We give them no hormones or antibiotics. Our sheep are humanely raised, and the great tasting lamb is available by the whole or individual cut.
Our bees help with all the pollinating of pasture and timber flowers as well as provide us with great pure raw honey. They also encourage us to never use pesticides or herbicides.
Please visit us online, call, or better yet, stop by. You should always examine your product source to confirm that you are getting what you think you are. Hope to see you soon!

We handle our calves in a low-stress environment, which helps make the meat more tender. The calves are rotated every 1–2 days during the grass-growing season. They are supplemented with alfalfa hay and a variety of annual crops including oats, rye and clover. Extra effort is put in these calves to make then as healthy and tasty as possible.
The calves from our closed herd are raised on our farm from birth to processing time.

Country Neighbors Farm is a sixth-generation family farm. We began our grass based operation in 1998, but we've been farming since we got off the boat! Because of our long involvement in food production, we are intensely committed to soil health and regenerative farming. We strive to be your reliable, honest, and hard working country neighbor. The sort of people you can rely on to treat you like family, feed you like family, and care about your family's health and well-being.
We practice holistic management, rotational grazing, and low stress animal husbandry. We feed our soils with compost, protect our streams and ponds, and strive to enhance biological diversity on the land we care for. We reject hormones, ionophores, growth promotants, insecticides, and antibiotics. We use rotational grazing and healthy pasture to feed our animals and practice low stress animal handling and kindness.
We offer 100% grass fed, grass finished beef and lamb. Our beeves are available in wholes, halves, and split sides. Our beef is succulent, delicious, and packaged to fit your needs.
We also raise pastured chickens and turkeys. Our birds are in portable shelters that are constantly moving across clean pastures. We are unique in that we feed our poultry 100% non-GMO feed that we raise and mix ourselves. This ensures quality and traceability. We use diverse, long crop rotations and cover crops to build soil health and in turn, grow nutritious feed for our birds.

Covered-L Farm has been in the cattle business since 1992 and raising 100% grassfed beef since 2007. We farm in an environmentally friendly manner by using no antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides or growth hormones. We're not organic, just close. We really enjoy providing flavorful, healthy, nutritious clean beef to mid-Missouri customers while maintaining sustainability standards.
Our 100% grassfed beeves are primarily Red Angus/Hereford with some full-blood South Polls. They graze high-quality pastures throughout the year along with excellent hay when necessary. To insure you receive the quality beef you expect, we test a small portion of each beeve for tenderness and flavor. Anything not meeting Sherry's high standards becomes ground beef so only the best cuts are available for our customers. Our prices for our 100% grassfed beef are lower than almost all other grassfed farms.
Halves, split halves and whole beeves are available year around. Individual packages of our USDA inspected beef are in both Clovers Natural Markets and the West Broadway and Nifong Hy-Vee stores, all in Columbia MO. Packages are also available at the farm and in Columbia during our Wednesday deliveries. Sorry, but we do not ship.
We are the beef portion of Covered-L Associates. Our independent cooperating partners are Brush & Trouble Farm (seasonal pastured pork and chicken) and Brooks Farm (100% grassfed lamb).

Deep Blue Farms, in north-central Arkansas, is owned and managed by John and Gayle Armstrong. Our focus is on raising the most wholesome, natural, wonderful-for-you chicken, pork, and beef. We are pursuing real, quality food for ourselves and our families, and we want you to share in the goodness.
Our beef is grass-finished, supplemented only with natural minerals and salt, in a rotational grazing system. We raise our own calves and leave them with their mamas for at least six to eight months. Our pork is pastured, also in a rotational system, feeding on non-GMO corn, grass, acorns, and other foods they find in their natural environment. Our Red Broiler chickens are also moved to fresh grass each day, feeding on clover, grass and bugs, along with the natural, non-GMO grains they need. We also raise turkeys on pasture once a year, to be available in November.
None of our animals are treated with hormones or steroids; antibiotics are used rarely and only as needed. They are treated with love and care. Our pastures are free of chemical fertilizer and grow lush on the rotational grazing system. Our own well supplies plenty of fresh water for the animals.
Our beef is available in individual cuts or by halves or quarters. Pork also is available in cuts or halves. Chicken is available in wholes, cut-ups, and parts, as well as livers, gizzards, hearts, and feet (excellent for making bone broth!). Turkeys are packaged whole. Eggs are also available.
Our meat is available locally at our farm near Hardy, at the Spring River Health Connection in Ash Flat, and at the ASU Farmers' Market in Jonesboro (May thru October). Through the winter, we also meet buyers every other week in Jonesboro, to be available year-round.

Delhi Sustainable Farms is a small family farm that produces 100% grass-fed beef and pasture-raised chicken. We are located about an hour southwest of St. Louis, a beautiful drive down Highway 44.
All our animals spend the majority of their lives grazing our pastures. We plant Sorghum-Sudan grass to supply an extremely high-sugar, high-protein diet for our cattle which allows them to produce wonderful marbling. Our beef is processed by a local USDA inspected processor. Our beef products are not tough or gamey; they simply taste like beef was intended.
Our chickens do get a grain supplement, but the majority of their diet comes from the grasses and bugs. We house them in Salatin-designed chicken tractors that get moved daily. We process the birds ourselves on the farm to reduce the stress in their final days. We have an exemption through the USDA allowing us to do the processing on the farm.
We offer many individual products which can be found on our website. We manage our animals in a way to have products most of the year. There may be a shortage of chicken in the late spring as our winter reserves start running low. We offer bulk beef in whole, halves, and quarters. Bulk beef will be delivered directly to your door (within 100 miles of the farm) for no extra fee. We also offer monthly subscription boxes which come in 10 pounds or 20 pounds, with both beef and chicken in them.
Orders can be picked up on the farm, but we also ship meats across the country via UPS. Boxes ship on Monday and will get to you on Tuesday. We welcome orders from restaurants, co-ops, and grocery stores.
Cash and credit/debit cards are the preferred method of payment. Contact us if you would prefer other forms of payment.

Farmer Brown Beef is located near Warrensburg, MO, about 50 miles southeast of Kansas City. Delivery is available within a 100 mile radius including the Kansas side of the Kansas City area.
Our family has been raising and eating grass fed Polled Herefords in a closed herd for about 50 years. Recently we have begun to give the cattle fresh grass daily through rotational grazing mimicking natural herd behavior. We do not use grain, antibiotics, or hormones. Our carbon footprint is quite small and through our rotational grazing management we expect will become highly carbon sequestering as the soil awakens with life and begins building topsoil naturally at a vigorous rate.
This healthy, environmentally and humanely raised 100% grass fed beef is available as wholes, halves or split halves. Meat is processed by Remer in Clinton and dry aged.

The chickens and turkeys live out on pasture in mobile coops. We move them every morning to a clean area of pasture where they can scratch and range for grasses and bugs in addition to their non-GMO feed.
What is forest-raised pork? Pigs that live in the forest! This is the ideal environment for a pig. They use their snout to root around and turn up the ground uncovering food on the forest floor. They also have access to non-GMO feed. Good bacon comes from happy pigs!
You can order all our products online through our website. You can also view our delivery schedule and locations on our website. Each month we offer several *free* community pick-up locations around the KC Metro. Our current pick-up locations are Raymore, Lee's Summit, Independence, Martin City, Midtown KC, Harrisonville, Parkville, and Prairie Village. In the summer you can find us at the Lee's Summit Farmers Market on Saturdays. We also offer weekly Home Delivery for a small fee. Orders over $150.00 receive free home delivery.

Green Hills Harvest produces organic milk from Jersey-cross cows. Owners Kerry and Barb Buchmayer say that a few customers have wondered if their skim and 2% milk is mislabeled because it tastes so creamy.
The Buchmayers feed their cows a limited amount of organic grain to supplement the fresh pasture. (The cows get about 1/3 to 1/2 as much grain as is typically fed in a standard dairy.) The milk is hormone and pesticide free. Green Hills Harvest milk products will soon be available in select stores in the Kansas City area.

At Hedgewood Farms, our mission is to practice humane and sustainable farming to provide premium-quality pastured beef, poultry, pork, and eggs that sustain the land and our bodies in the healthiest way possible.
Our products have no added hormones or antibiotics, and we never rely on chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. Instead, we combine rotational grazing, poly-farming and strategic biodiversity to control weeds and soil quality.
Did you know cattle are ruminants? That is why our Angus and Scottish Highland/South Pole cattle are humanely raised and 100% grazed year-round. We practice management intensive grazing because it is best for the cattle and the soil.
Our pastured poultry receive supplemental grains that are 100% organic. They live in mobile chicken tractors and move across our pastures daily, feasting on cow patties, forage, and bugs while fertilizing our pastures at the same time. This builds the soil, benefits the ecology, and makes for a more flavorful, better textured, healthier chicken. Egg-laying hens are truly free-range and supplemented with 100% organic grain.
Our hogs forage freely in the woods and are happy and healthy. They too are supplemented with 100% organic grains.

jjjmgrassfedbeef.com, located near Truman Lake in West Central Missouri, is owned and operated by 3rd and 4th generation family farmers. After the Civil War, both Union and Confederate soldiers settled the countryside and area became known as "Golden Valley." Soft rolling hills and spring-fed creeks blended into large parcels of un-treed, open farmland in the Grand River Basin. John Jurgensmeyer and his fraternal twin Ben purchased their property near Montrose, MO in 1919. Today John's grandchildren and great-grandchildren operate the family farm that has been Certified Organic since 1997.
We primarily raise Angus and Hereford for their superior marbling characteristics. Our grass fed natural beef cattle forage on continually rotated fresh pastures, and never receive synthetic growth hormones. Our protocol is to never use any antibiotics unless absolutely necessary for the animal's health and welfare. Our pastures are never treated with artificial fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. We cut and bale our own red clover, lespedeza, fescue and orchard grass hay into those big round bales we roll out in winter.
We have animals available year round and offer either Quarter, Half, or Whole Beef. Our beef is processed in a small, family-owned USDA inspected facility and is dry-aged for a minimum of 14–21 days. It is then cut into ground beef, steaks, roasts, brisket, and soup bones for those who want a healthy cut of beef on hand when they need it.
We are committed to providing 100% pure grass fed beef that our customers can feel good about feeding to their families. We like to think of our customers as friends and partners, and we want you to feel comfortable about buying your meat from someone you know and trust.

Pasture Nectar Farm is located in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. Our primary product is grass. Our grass gets harvested by some lucky cows, poultry, and sheep, and they turn it into lots of delectable things – the nectar: milk, cream, eggs, meat.
Our Shorthorn cows produce excellent meat, milk and cream for your family. They eat fresh grass and clover from our rotated chemical-free pastures during the growing season, and hay in the winter—never steroids, hormones, or animal by-products. In the parlor, they enjoy a non-GMO ration, 3 to 4 lbs or less, but enough to give them the extra calories they need while producing milk.
Raw milk is sold in half-gallon glass jars. You are welcome to visit our squeaky-clean dairy parlor anytime.
We offer USDA-inspected 100% grass-fed beef year-round. You can buy individual cuts any time (while quantities last) or order by the whole, half, or quarter beef. Our meat animals are 100% grass-fed.
Pastured lamb is available in whole, half or individual cuts, and is USDA-inspected.
Our free-range, out-on-the-pasture hens turn our grass and bugs into delicious, omega-3 eggs.
If you haven't tried grass-based local food before, you will be amazed at the difference in the quality and taste plus you will be supporting a local family and helping to assure that you will have food grown close by in the future -- very important in these days of distant industrial one-size-fits-all food production. You can check pricing and availability on our website.

Peace Valley Poultry raises field-grazed chicken, turkey and beef. In 1996 our family began growing wholesome range-raised poultry. We are still a small family farm committed to providing high-quality, healthy meat in a manner that respects God's creation.
Our chickens are treated carefully and naturally from day one. The ration we feed them is one we mix from whole grains, vitamins and minerals, and does NOT contain Genetically Modified ingredients or any medications. The pasture they are raised on is pesticide-free/herbicide-free and is managed holistically with rotationally grazed cattle, although it is not certified organic. The chickens are raised in hoop houses that are moved to fresh grass daily to insure healthy birds and pastures. At processing time we continue our practice of careful handling to provide high-quality fresh chicken. The end result is a truly tasty bird; "Like chicken used to taste," as many of our customers say. The chicken is sold either whole, split (in half), cut-up, or in packages of individual parts.
In November we sell turkeys that are raised the same way the chickens are. We have heard many reports from satisfied customers who don't want anything but field-grazed turkeys now that they have tried one. Fresh turkeys are available on the farm and at delivery locations before Thanksgiving.
We sell our poultry from our farm and also meet customers in Springfield and Rolla. We are looking for someone to organize a buying club in St. Louis. Our chicken is also found in MaMa Jean's in Springfield, Ozark Country Market in Poplar Bluff, and can be ordered through American Grassfed Beef http://www.americangrassfedbeef.com/pasture-raised-poultry.asp .
We buy beef steers in the spring, graze them all summer and fall and process them in December.
Feel free to visit our website to see photos and learn more about our farm.
